The latest ALB (australian longboard mag) hit the shelves last week and Brett Caller scored the trifecta!!! he got his first ever cover shot care of a Dane Peterson speed blur... but it didn't stop there, inside he got a full pager taken by Mark Onorati in Sydney, and then he was the subject of choice for ALB's first lift-out poster, which I was stoked to have taken at little while back at Arrawarra point. It's probably the best ALB mag I've seen in a while, its new landscape format is really working well.

Off to Japan.

The Japan Green room festival is here once again and this year Paul and Sage have been asked to provide the canvases for the Critical slide society display at the event. Sage and Paul have been super busy handcrafting five paulowina Alaia's to have them ready in time. I spent the this last weekend on the coffs coast but before I shot back up to Byron I caught up with my shaper and good friend Sage at a fun little right hand point to catch the last few waves of the day as the sun went down.

on the road with Brett

I hit the road with Brett and his bro Jaya yesterday in search of some logging waves and while the weather didn't deliver ideal lighting for photos the waves were really fun. Travelling with Brett is a joy, it never gets boring. The 2 hour trip seemed like 10 minutes with his front seat entertainment.
