DP.

Check out these rad hand planes of Danes. They have rocker and everything. Peteo and I hit a few shories yesterday morning while the waves were kind of junky, it was so sick.

Harley...

So I'm back in Coffs this week as I have a study break at uni although today I didn't get a lot of that done. I caught up withs a few buddies of mine Harley Ingelby, Dane Peterson and Steve Cleveland and we truely scored. We surfed twice, this morning a hollow punch left and then this arvo a epic wedging right hand point. It was just one of those sweet winter days, offshore, crystal clean, barrels and sunny. Here is a pic of H doing what he does best. Pic by Stimages

Taking it back to basics.

Lately I have been feeling a little out of step on my log and have found my self getting a little frustrated. When I get like this I usually have lost the stoke a little and need to find the joy again. So I usually turn to either my 8'9 Paul Joske Alaia or my hand plane to take it back to basics and just go triming for awhile. I love the feeling of just skipping across the water in a straight line, no cross steps, nose rides or turns just simple trim. joy :)

Riding the old bull.

So I have entered the Old mal divison at the Byron single fin comp at Wategos this wkd. Its been pretty interesting getting to know my old girl again. I guess you could say its been like trying to learn to riding a bull. You just have to go with the flow or you just get bucked off.

Off to Japan.

The Japan Green room festival is here once again and this year Paul and Sage have been asked to provide the canvases for the Critical slide society display at the event.
