Oli + Volta = Bali

This is my brother in law Oli, he and my little sister and their baby Mali, Just got back from a month in bali and to me it looks like Oli got to break his new Volta in on some pretty nice waves.

The old bull.

This weekend coming is the Australian Old Mal titles at cresent head, I can hardly wait. I own a 9'2 1967 Gordon Woods stringless that I call the "old Bull". The reason for this is that I reckon that every time I get back on it its like i'm going in to battle. I really enjoy the challenge, it's like it just has a mind of its own and you just have to hold on and go for the ride. There is something about the old mals that is really special. The Pic below is of me late yesterday afternoon at the pass trying to tame the bull, ha ha.

Johny Abegg.

This Is my mate Johnny, He is a local guy in Byron that absolutely shreds. He was once a WQS warrior but now loves to ride alternate equipment and draw really different line on a wave. Johnny is also a independent film maker and is have the the first showing of his new movie next Saturday the 4th of September at the community centre in Byron. If you have got nothing else to do you should get alone to check it out.
